Last Wednesday the book "EARLY NEWCASTLE The fettered and the free" was launched by the I rish Consul a great book and 2 years work
The book holds a data base of those in Newcastle between 1804 and 1824 some 4500 folk inckuding 750 soldiers
obtainable fromNewcastle Family History Society PO Box 189 Adamstown 2289
Hard Cover $90+p&p Soft cover $50+8.50 P&p in CD form $35+43p&p
At present I do not have a copy of the book to answer questions from
Nita in Newcastle
