Do any of the listers happen to have folk tried at the Liverpool Quarter
Sessions? My Joseph CLEGG was tried at the Kirkdale Session of the Hundred of
West Derby, Easter 1830 and wrote his petition from the Kirkdale House of
Correction. This house of correction is one of the few that was torn down.
Among other things it was supposed to be a collection spot for those about to be
transported but records are lost, were scattered in various archives ...
perhaps destroyed.
