Hi y'all,

You know, it's one of my interests to find out who else was on the
convict transport, whether crew, passenger, soldier or convict and
discover the relationships that developed from those many months at sea.
My specialty, the Lord Melville, has revealed several interesting
relationships, including one of the convict women being assigned to one
of her shipboard mates who had served her time. Another convict woman
was looking after the child of her shipboard friend.
It is not enough in my opinion to stop at your own kin but to try to
uncover their interaction with others in the same boat (so to speak) and
therfore flesh out their lives.
Perhaps this topic can be pursued.
