Hi Merrilyn

I have sent some emails today about assignment on arrival, although each era was
have been a little different.

The Lady Harewood Indent does state on the far right hand side how the convicts
were disposed (assigned)

He was probably assigned to John Sparkes at Sydney :)

Alistair and List
I agree. I am most interested to find out more about what happened to
convicts and others and how they survived when they arrived in Sydney.
I am finding it difficult to find out what happened on arrival to my convict
John Bowker (Lady Harewood 1831) and his future bride Ellen O'Leary (Alfred
1842).
Many thanks
