I could send pages on Assignment of convicts......

As I have stated before today, it depends on when your convict arrived.

The rules and regs changed over the many decades of transportation, therefore
it's important to state the particular year/s that your convict/s arrived.

interesting thread Gay regarding assisgnments and indents, one question tho,
Lesley mentioned that not all indents listed who a convict was assigned to,
if thats the case, how would you find out where a convict went upon arrival?
