Yes Pamela,
You are quite correct - it is her Baptismal Record which has been printed
out on a NSW Govt. Form, however, it does give the date of her birth, 3
August, 1841, and her date of Baptism, 30 July, 1843.
I also have all the pre 1856 fiche, plus others of later dates, and it is
always wise to check the pre 1856 fiche, as quite a few of the old records
did not make it on to the Pioneer Index, and subsequently, not onto the
Internet Records either. Some corrections were made, as I remember
giving information to SAG at the time of the Pioneer Index first appearing,
as quite a few of my family had been omitted (with various surnames), as
had many others according to the book I was putting details in. I guess
these were the ones which were eventually corrected, but if other names
were not being researched, then they did not get picked up.
There are presumably, some people who just "slipped through the net" anyway.
Best wishes,
Liz Walker
