I think you're not on the best list for the topic of Qld Police. You'd
probably find more help from one of the Qld lists - genealogy-queensland
<> with subject "subscribe", or

I can tell you that there is a full A4 page of information on sources for
Qld Police research in Judy Webster's book "Tips for Queensland Research"
(ISBN 1 875333 19 3). You can buy this valuable resource direct from Judy
for a moderate sum (I forget exactly what) - her website is
