Hello Lesley and list members.
Thank-you Lesley for fixing my subscription problem.
I am one of the quiet ones on the list who gets a great deal of information
from postings on the list.
I am now trying to tie in a family link with a convict named John Early who
arrived in 1823 onboard the Surry I.
He seems to have gone to Victoria as this is where his daughter, Mary Anne
was born in 1830.
I cannot seem to find out how or why he would be in Victoria. I was
wondering if convicts were sent there from Port Jackson and if so how I can
find information about them.

Any help or information will be greatly appreciated.
