Hi Marilyn,

Yes, Sidney Ernest Wells was the brother of Roland Sinclair and youngest son
of Thomas2 & Mary Ann White, I would like to share my latest findings
regarding this family.

Sidney Ernest married twice, first to Selina Hungerford in Maitland (no
children) but they divorced, he then married Laura Holland (nee Hodgins).

Laura Hodgins first married Edward Holland and had a son James who died aged
3 and a daughter Thelma who as born 1909, the same year her father Edward
died, Laura then married Sidney Ernest Wells and they had the following
children:

ERNEST THOMAS WELLS - currently researching

VIOLET MAY WELLS - 1913 - 1967 - was killed while being transported by
ambulance to Hornsby Hospital and the ambulance was involved in a road
accident. In 1928 Violet married Albert Bryce Henry (1905 - 1975).

JUNE LAURA WELLS - most exciting news with June Laura, she enlisted in the
Army during WW2 and was a driver, she met and married Leslie Howard Kidd in
Gosford during 1946 and Leslie took his new wife to Victoria and no one
heard from them again. June's brother, Max Wells was my father in-law and he
always carried a photo of June Laura in his wallet and wondered if he would
ever see her again. I decided my New Year's resolution would be to find June
Laura Kidd (nee Wells) and her family, if any !!!

With the help of Rootsweb Lists (Victoria and Melbourne) and Necropolis
Springvale staff, I found June Laura's death during 2003, so guess I left
my research a couple of years too late, but in doing this I also found her
son (our cousin) and are now chatting via email and exchanging family
stories and records, he is just as thrilled as I to have found lost family.

MAX WELLS - married Margaret May Doyle in Dubbo, they had 7 sons (I have
given you a file on Max)

ADDED BONUS - last week I visited my daughter and she said, "Oh Mum, I found
these old photos Nana Wells gave me years ago and wonder if they would be
any good to you with your family research", ??? needless to say, I now have
many Wells photos, some dating back to early 1900's, so very excited.......

Will send some off list.
