William GORMAN received corporal punishment for scandalous abuse of a woman.

John WILLIAMS was ordered to be confined to the Gaol every night till further
orders for lurking about the streets after dark in a suspicious manner.

Hugh DOOLING, a blacksmith in the employ of the government, received corporal
punishment for purloining a quantity of iron, the property of the Crown.

James GRADY for threatening to assassinate another person, received a severe
corporal punishment, and ordered into the Gaol Gang till further orders.

Thomas ISAACS, a seaman belonging to the Harrington, received a corporal
punishment for assaulting and beating an Officer of that vessel.
David Wolfendale, apprehended on a violent suspicion of housebreaking and owing
to his general character, was ordered onto the Gaol gang.

James DUNN lately apprehended on board a vessel secreted, apparently with a
design of effecting his escape from the Colony, was ordered into the Gaol gang
as a vagrant, for suspiciously wandering the streets after dark.

John GILLIARD, for insolence to his master, received a corporal punishment.

Thomas RIGNEY, John BESLEY and Jeremiah LAWS, were corporally punished for
refusing to comply with orders they had received.

John BROWN and James WELSH, who recently effected their escape from the New
Gaol at Parramatta, having surrendered themselves at Hawkesbury during the late
disturbances, were committed to the Gaol gang till further orders.

John ELDER, an idle and unfortunate character, apprehended in the woods near
Hawkesbury without viable means of support, was fined 6 months to the Gaol gang
as a vagrant. He was formerly fined 2 years for a flagrant act of dishonesty and
since then 3 months for wantonly abandoning flocks of R. Squires at Kissing
Point, of which he had the charge as shepherd.
