Hi Nancy

When you ordered teh certificate the index number will tell you if it is a
Brisbane registration or not If it has a B eg 1911/B2087 means it was in
1911 a Brisbane registration and number 2087.

Emperor Street ran from Cornwall Street to Victoria Terrace and is one
street back from Ipswich Road. Stephens is the district. Princess
Alexandra Hospital is on Ipswich Road and was around at that time known as
the Diamintina Hospital. It was renamed either for or afetr Princess
Alexandra's visit, in the 1950s.

If she was not living there or with relatives (this is where the informant
and their relationship to the deceased may be helpful) it is possible that
she was in a nursing home after having been in hospital. What was her
cause of death?

I would have thought if she had died in the hospital it would have stated
this.

Regards
Helen
