I am trying to find out information on a Johann Hanschild a widower from
Germany who married Anna Harbage (born in Australia) on June 1874 in Sydney
and hope that someone may be able to direct me to possible lines of enquiry.
The name HANSCHILD is not at all common (no listing in white pages) so maybe
the spelling on the certificate is incorrect or the name has been
anglicized. I would appreciate any assistance or ideas. I can find no
births of any children or death of Johann or Anna - I wonder again if the
name was changed or did they go to Germany perhaps??? I realise this list
covers QLD not NSW but thought perhaps someone could offer me some ideas.
