Subject: JAHL - found 'em then lost 'em! & Death notices in D'Downs newspa pers

Greetings one and all.

I found my missing Rosalia JAHL and her son Clement JAHL on the electoral
rolls for Darling Downs for the years 1903, 1905 & 1906 in the Darling
downs, sub division of AUBIGNY. THEN - the sub div of Aubigny disappeared
from the Darling downs electorate!!!! - not there for 1908. So I gained
only 8 years.

Does anyone happen to know what happened to the sub div of Aubigny? Did the
boundaries change?

Also, can anyone please tell me where I might look for a death notice for
John JAHL who died in 3 August 1908? I tried the Toowoomba Chronicle for
dates just after the 3rd but could not find any death notices - just
'Wanted' ads and farm supplies ads.
