oops. Sorry everyone. I must have hit the wrong button somewhere along
the line. That message wasn't meant to be forwarded to the list.
I also apologise that it was so long. That was because it was such a
long message when I received it as the person hadn't cleaned the excess
first. Sorry.
Oh well, until tomorrow, this is probably good night.
Lorrae has asked me to forward further info to the list regarding how to
get to Apex Lake.
These revised directions are:
Go through Gatton, turn Left at 2nd set of lights, into
Railway Street, which becomes Western Drive when it narrows to
one lane. The kiosk is in Lake Apex Drive which is 4th street on
left after traffic lights.
For the Gatton Historical Society:
Continue pass Lake Apex Drive, taking the next left onto Tenthill
Creek Road, then 1st left (at Shell) for the GHS.
LAKE is not really very big, nice walking distance around it.

Remembering, Gatton is another small country town - Coles will be
open (turn L at 1st set of lights) (There are only 2 sets of traffic
lights in the Lockyer Valley - both on the main road through
Gatton).
Nearly all shops shut at 11.30am, most be 12 noon, and a few
cafes and take-away foods will stay open for a few more hours.
MacDonalds is at the University Campus,on the highway, about 10
minutes from Gatton. KFC is at the 2nd set of Traffic lights.
Another chicken place is a couple hundred yards past KFC.
That is my geography lesson for today. MOTTO - come prepared.
