Dear Beverly and all Pomeranians in Australia

Pommerania is burned down
and there are no Pommeranians anymore ?

Are there really none left?

Today in Germany there are about 1.5 millions of Pommeranians, wo had to
leave their homeland after the end of the war.
It can only be estimated how many Pommeranians there are living still today
worldwide. A number of about 5 millions seems to be realistic. That is to
say, that in a couple of decades there will be no more Pommeranians besides
the ones in Mecklenburg- Vorpommern.-
Their descendants will also hardly remember, that they are Pommeranians. The
fairy tale stories of their g-g-g-grandparents do not suffise to keep the
living memories alive, not even when they are lcontinued from generation to
generation.
That is why it is a marvellous opportunity to exchange stories, reports,
photos and thoughts through the WORLD WIDE WEB.
To keep the memory alive of the moving historical past of this country and
the characteristics of the Pommeranians, who once had their homeland there.
