In case anyone missed the answer as Elizabeth attempted to post her
reply to the list but it missed....here it is again . Sorry if it is a
repeat, but it hadn't shown up in my mailbox from the list but as a

I sent this reply to the AUS- QLD-SE-Germans List but for some reason it
doesn't appear to have registered.
Records for the above inquiry are held by the National Archives of
Australia,(NAA) Brisbane Office.
Title of Record, War Precaution Act, Register of Enemy Shareholders.
Series BP171/13. Item NN 1916-1919. Barcode 336090.
Description of Series: Register showing, name of shareholder, address,
particulars of receipts & payments
relating to individual accounts under the War Precautions Act.
Anyone who is interested should check the original documents in the NAA
Brisbane office or request photocopies to be sent if living elsewhere in
Australia. Just go to the NAA Internet site at Details
