Hi Kerry
I can't help with answers to either of your questions and this is just a
stab in the dark for me.
My mother's maiden name was Meryl Freda Marie MULLER and came from Laidley.
Her father was John MULLER, born 7 December 1877, who was the son of John
Gottfried MULLER and Maria ORTH. Mum used to mention Boonah and Kalbar but I
don't know what the connection was. I wonder if these people are part of
your family tree.
