DEar Jim, I just clicked on the site for the FREE BMD from ANCESTRY.com and
find that at the end of their writeup of the availability of the records
that it is $69.95 per year subscription to access the FREE BMD for ENGLAND
etc.
I wonder why they said that it would be free in the release that you posted
to the list?
I have read horror stories from people about how they once subscribed to
ANCESTRY and then could not get unsubscribed and are being charged regularly
for services that they no longer take advantage of or no longer need.
Has anyone else on the list had experience with ANCESTRY.com? Was it a
successful experience? Would you recommend people to give out their credit
card number to this company?
