Wilhelmine TETZLAFF was a passenger on the "Herschel" from Hamburg which
arrived in Bowen in July 1873. Her marriage certificate to Matthew MITCHELL
(February 1875) named her parents as Johann TETZLAFF and Anna PERSKE and
that she was born in Deutsche Krone, West Prussia. It seems likely that she
was related to the PERSKE and MANTHEI families who were on the same vessel.
The marriage took place in Mackay and it looks like she remained there in
Mackay until she died in 1902.

Does anyone have any TETZLAFF's who originated from that part of the world?
