Thank you very much for your reply.
The Tewes' I am interested in are any at all descended from and including
Carl Heinrich Tewes and his wife Anna Louise Sperling. Their children as
far as I can tell were: Elizabeth, Conrad, Charles, Annie, Dorothea and
Maria. Also possibly a son Theodor. It was this daughter, Anna, who
married August Wilhelm Vonhoff. Dorothea married Wilhelm Robert August
Vonhoff.
Another name I am interested in is Krause. Two of the above children also
married Krauses.
If you can find info in either of the books you mentioned, I would love to
arrange purchase.
Loved your work on transcribing all the old papers. It was very helpful!
