Hi Sue,

Someone once told me that the Strassburg & Nitz family are associated
together quite a lot, and apparantly came from the same town in Germany. How
correct this is I am not sure.

Wilhelmine Auguste STRASSBURG was my GG Grandmother b. 17/1/1826
Blankenburg, Uckermarke d. 29/3/1902 Tallegalla Qld. She married Christian
Friedrich BERLIN abt 1850 in Blankenburg.

Her death certificate states her father as Wilhelm STRASSBURG of Prussia.

That's all I have found out so far.

By the way, I too am originally from Ipswich but haved lived in Melbourne
for about 15 years.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
