Subject: USING THE PREVIEW PANE

Hi All
We are all having heaps of trouble, aren't we?! Bugbear is using very
recent messages now and together with the Spam messages (precisely 25 of
those this morning) which hit us every weekend, life on the net is getting
to be a pain. I used Norton for some time until this machine decided it was
not compatible, so I know what their virus messages are like. The first one
frightened the dickens out of me with all that clanging and flashing stuff!
Grisoft lets the virus come in, but woe betide you if you try to open a
"baddie"!
The REASON for this mail -- I tried to explain during the week, but I'm
hopeless at that explaining business. For the many of you (Outlook Express)
who did not know what I was on about - that screen is called the Preview
Pane and the piece I was trying to describe "in the middle" is called the
Preview Pane Header. It is on this that you will see the Paper Clip Icon on
the right hand side and SO FAR - although the pest can hide the fact there
is an attachment by not allowing it to show in the "top bit" (now what the
heck is THAT called?) - it still shows on that P/P Header.
If you don't have that showing and would feel even safer being able to see
this - go to VIEW, LAYOUT, and select SHOW PREVIEW PANE HEADER.
List Owners - I beg your indulgence. Our newbies may be grateful.
Bev
