Hi Jenny and Peta
Comment - "I don't think I am getting all the e-mails off the list"
If you are not sure, please check our archieves which has all the emails
within seconds of them being sent (now that Rootsweb is back up and running
well <g>) (They upgraded some of their equipment and things were slower)
http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/aus-qld-se-germans

Comment - "if you got any replies could you please forward them"
This is why you are all encouraged to reply through the list, and then we
all get to see the ansers - I too was waiting for a reply to Peta's question
as I am chasing details on my "Pollitzer von Helmrich" surname.

Jenny, I thank you for voicing these comments 'on the list' but they echo so
many people's thoughts too.
This leads to the problem of replying without the original email - please
leave enough of the original email so that the thread can be followed - you
will notice that I have added 'cut snip cut' where I deleted the peice that
I did not think was relevant - see the achieves if you need to see what I
deleted <g>

Thank you all

Hi Peta,

I am also in the same predicament as you - know no german - and finding it
difficult. I don't think I am getting all the e-mails off the list - as
some come through and I don't know what they are talking about.

I was wondering if you got any replies could you please forward them on to
me.

Thanks in advance for any help/news we could share.
