Hi Gloria
Lucky for you I have determination. I have spent all night trying to access
the email I sent to Nundah Historical Centre regarding the German
Immigration Centre. When we formatted our computer and backed everything up
we somehow saved the family history email folder as a .dbx file (I don't
know). I eventually worked out to open it in Word and although most of it is
gobbledy gook it did show email addresses. I then browsed through them all
and remembered Nundah when I saw the name. You probably didn't want to know
all this but I have tried previously to get the info back with no luck (and
lots of frustration). So hooray and here is the email address
By memory the lady's name who answered my email was Mavis and she took about
2 weeks to answer as she did some searching for me. I had given information
on the name I was looking for (Hagemann) and the information that they were
living at the centre when they had a child in 1873. Unfortunately she didnt
have any info for me but perhaps you will be luckier.
Good luck and I'd love to know if they were able to help you Gloria.
Sorry it took so long
Regards
Lisa
