Please don't look on this as SPAM, but several years ago, John Williams,
a lecturer in the Department of germanic Studies at the University of
Sydney, asked via these lists for assistance with some studies he was
undertaking. He has now released some of those results, in a book
titled "German ANZACS - and the First World War (ISBN number 0 86840 508
6).
He has taken a selection of servicemen with names that sounded Germanic,
and investigated their condition and treatment during the said war.
Makes interesting reading. I have no vested interest in the book, but
thought some might find details there about one of their family members.
there book has 318 pages and is published by UNSW Press.
