Dear Christoph
My source is information received from a distant relative in Germany. We
have common BEHM ancestors. I haven't asked my relative about it because
of a language difficulty - she speaks no English and I no German. I have
had to get our emails translated so we can communicate.
The parents of Marder were Jochim BEHM and Maria BARTELS.
Other children's names were Michael, Jacob, Christian and Sophia.
I can't see Marder as a family name from the information I have.
Best wishes
Jennifer

Dear Jennifer,
In what kind of source do you have found the name "Marder"?
The pastors have written the names like they have heard it and like they
thought it is the correct form to write them. What can be Marder?
1. an animal
2. a family name
3. Martha
4. a short form of Maria Therese - but I think this it is not, because
Pommerania was lutheran and Maria Therese is a catholic name...
kind regards,
Christoph Haupt
