The third voyage of the Reichstag sailed from Hamburg on the 14th of April 1873 and arrived at Maryborough on the 18th of July 1873.

Captain : Master Hainschilt Surgeon : Dr. Conrade

Assisted Passengers

SCHULZ Wilhelm 57, Christine 57, Wilhelm 25, Wilhelmine 27, Bertha 5*(Died on voyage -Death Index :- 1873/001038MA), Ulrike 3*(Died on voyage - Death Index :- 1873/001029MA).

While researching my Schulz/Schultz lines I found this family who I believe could be my original ancestors to Australia. Can anyone tell me anything more about the passengers on this ship. Where they came from etc. I'm very curious as to whether Wilhelm 57 is the father of Wilhelm 25 but don't suppose the passenger list would tell me that. My family settled at Hatton Vale (I think) - why would they have disembarked at Maryborough!!! Or did they continue to Brisbane???? Hoping someone can help. Thanks.

Charmaine.
