Yes, please, I'd like further information, please on LENZ and KUTZKE.

My LENZs came on "Susanne Godeffroy" that departed Hamburg 19th Sept 1863 - arrived Moreton Bay January 1864. They were from Breitenstein, Brandenburg. Initially they stayed around Downfall Creek (Chermside) area.

As much as I've tried, I have never been able to link my LENZs with the Ernst Friedrich LENZ on 1884 "Merkara" from Falkenburg. This fellow's wife was Amelia Augusta KUTZKE from Gross grund, Kosslin. This family, I know, were from the Gladstone area.

An article re. the following appeared in December's edition of "Gladstone
News":

Gustav 'Gus' NOTHLING (son of Johann and Justine nee LINDOW) arrived Moreton
Bay per "Susanne Godeffroy" 1864

Married Emilie NOTHLING in 1881. Had farm at Bethania, but later settled Mt.
Larcom, Q. area.
Had twelve children.

Other German surnames mentioned include: KUTZKE, LENZ, SCHULZE, FRIEDRICH.
