....es? [maybe James] and A.M. M'CAWLEY, Perth-street, granddaughter of the
late Mr. M. STENNER, J.P., Toowoomba, grandniece of the Rev. William
M'AULEY, parish priest of Anna, County Cavan, second cousin of the late Rev.
James M'CAULEY, County Cavan, Ireland, one of the young priests selected by

BEDFORD--On the 22nd April, at the residence of her parents, near Roma,
Caroline Katie, beloved wife of Twisden BEDFORD, from exophthalmic goite.

LUTTON--At Orange, New South Wales, James, the seventh son of Mr. C. LUTTON,
of Paddington, Sydney, and brother of Mrs.C.BALDWIN, of this city.

RAINE--On the 24th February, at Rio de Janeiro, R. RAINE, late of Kangaroo
Point, after a short illness from.......?. Aged 33 years.

RINALDI--On the 22nd April, accidentally drowned while attempting to cross
the Burnett River at Paradise Goldfield, Enrico RINALDI, late of Turin,
Italy, aged 27 years.

SMITH--On the 25th April, at his sons residence, Graceville, Rev. W.A.
SMITH, M.A. of Southport, formerly of Aberdeen, Scotland, aged 69.

widow of Timothy MAHER, late of Burwood.

M'EVOY--March 17, at Alexandria, Julia M'EVOY, aged 72 years.

EXOPHTHALMIC GOITE--Thyrotoxicosis--A disease affecting the thyroid gland
which causes changes in the metabolism of the bogy, such as weight loss,
raised heart rate. Other neurological manifestations may occur including
myopathy and various eye disorders. Other names may be: Graves Disease,
Basedow's Disease.
