Hi listers,
My mother`s uncle, Andrew (Andy) Halley McGUIRE was born in Richmond, Vic. in 1899 and later moved to the "Darling Downs" where, according to mother he had a horse stud.
Also according to mother,when he lived in Melbourne, he worked as a "Rails bookmaker", but she is not sure whether he continued to operate as a Bookmaker when he moved to QLD.
Would anyone on the list be researching Andrew`s family line, or know of the McGUIRE`s of the "Darling Downs"
