Hi all, and Jim and John too!
How goes Toowoomba's weather this week? I am on two weeks AL but I will be
up there on Thursday for an appointment for my daughter (my clone too).

Can anyone help with the following request, please?

My "umteenth" (we share common ancestors two centuries ago) has asked the
following please:

'I have found a couple buried at Toowoomba.
Ernest CROSS died 07 Mar 1931 and buried 8th and his wife Ella Stuart Jane
nee McFARLANE, died 08 Dec 1941 bur 9th.
Their son, William Donald CROSS was born 1909 Glen Innes but enlisted for
WW2 from Toowoomba. Next of kin was given as Lorna.'

Two questions here, please.
1. Funeral notice or obit for the parents Ernest and Ella in 1931 and 1941
respectfully? Where would be best to search for these please? Which
resource centre? Does anyone have them that could do a lookup for me
please?

2. Are there any descendants for William Donald CROSS? He may have been
married to Lorna during WW2?

I have checked
http://www3.toowoomba.qld.gov.au/eBiz/Apps/Cemetery/index.php

and Ernest CROSS is listed as Aged 53, died on 7/3/1931 and buried on
8/3/1931 "Section PRES 3; Block 12; Allotment 37; Religion Pres; Headstone
Unknown; Cemetery Burial N189:
Whilst his wife is recorded as:
Cross Ella Stuart Jane Aged 55; died 08/12/1941; buried 09/12/1941;
Section PRES 4; block 4; Allotment 50; Religion Pres; Headtone Unknown;
cemetery burial R703.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Lorrae
