Charlotte was born in 1890 somewhere in Queensland and looks as though she
was the only child of William MacGregor Sutherland and Emma Cope.

Her parents died in Queensland, but I do not know where. William died on
10 June 1916 and Emma died on 10 Dec 1928.

I do not know yet whether Charlotte married.

Can anyone suggest how I will find the location of these events without
spending the money on the certificates? They are are indirect line but I
would like to fill in the descendants on the tree. I suppose I could check
all the newspapers that I can access in Qld, in the hope that there is an
entry. Does anyone have access to monumental inscriptions?
