Thanks to everyone who replied. I was afraid this wasn't my "Rockhampton RC boys school". I've now visited all the online sites. It seems there was a Catholic school in the 1880s in Rockhampton, but it goes un-named. I've sent out a couple of emails to the Education Dept. I live in hope for a reply.

As always- much appeciated,

Tim

Hi Tim

The above school is not a Catholic school
The Range Convent was the Catholic College
they are both on the same street - (Jardine I think)

There were two Grammar Schools one for the boys and
one for the girls - as far as I know they were Church of England
Schools

Bye for now

It lists "Rockhampton Grammar School" as being a a 'Non State School'. Would anyone know if this was (or is) a Catholic School?

Thank you,

Tim
