Hello everyone
New to this List and have recently begun tracing my husbands Nolan family.

Children born to this couple are

Mary Ellen ( my husbands grandmother) born Victoria 1890. She married William Charles Laxton in Brisbane 1909. Died 1965, buried Buderim.

Albert, born Brisbane 1891. He married Agnes Ritchie 1914, died 1963, Brisbane.

Walter, born Brisbane 1893. He married Jessie Starhouse Mitchell in Glasgow 1918 while in the army during WW1. Died 1976, Brisbane.

May Jane, born 1898

Catherine, born 1902 and Percy James born 1903, both infant deaths.

Everett Frederick, born ? married Alma Mary Priestly 1908, died 1940

There is also Joseph, died 1958 Qld, son of Wm H. and Catherine.

Parents address in 1909, at the time of the marriage of Mary Ellen was East St, Valley, Brisbane.Walter gave his fathers address as Symes St, Valley, and occupation as Pork Butcher in 1919.

So far, nothing on the Victorian marriage index re the marriage of William and Catherine. Hoping to contact other descendants but any information gratefully received.
