I am looking for the death of a WILLIAM WATSON in Queensland. All I know is that he arrived in Marborough in 1870 and that he died before his wife death in 1910 in Brisbane. I have listed all the William Watson who died between 1870 and 1910, crossed out those who were born in that time and those that I could from the Brisbane City Cemetery records (wrong age) but still have about 20 left. Here is what I do know.
William Watson born 9 July 1828 Middlesex England married Eliza Page 1856 at Bethnal Green, Middlesex England arrived Maryborough 1870 with his wife and family.
If you have a William Watson in your family and you have his death between these dates could you PLEASE let me know so I can cross him off my list.
I checked the inquests at the archives and found these William Watson which are not mine but they may help someone else:
William Watson died 17 Jan 1895 Bundaberg 40y old Alcohlic
William Watson died 8 Sept 1897 Gympie Timbergetter crushed by log No age
William Watson died 19 Sept 1897 Irvinebrook 50y Scotsman Drowned in dam. Was sacked from work a few days earlier for being drunk and not turning up for work. Had a brother - John Bruce Watson
William Watson died 10 July 1901 drowned in dam at Winton - said to be suicide but it also said his throat was slashed first. 82 year old - Wife and 2nd child died during confinement and 1st child died at 18 months.
