Hi Sylvia, don't know if this will help, but when I was a kid at school,
there was a boy in my class named Mark Catchpole. He had a sister - I
think her name was Catherine, but I'm not sure. His father was a
minister of religion, but it wasn;t one of your regular religions - this
was in about 1964-68. They lived in a huge house, known locally in the
Mt Barker area as The Wedding Cake House (because it looked like one),
and historically as Bollen's Folley - a Doctor Bollen had built it and
used it as a rest home for people suffering from tuberculosis. The
Catchpoles left Mt Barker in about 1968 and went to King Island. I have
no idea what happened to them after that, although I have often wondered
what happened to them when looking at old school photos.
