Subject: Lutheran Emigration site is online

Hi all,
For those who have interests in Prussian/German Lutheran emigration to
South Australia, I have just up-loaded a new addition to my shipping and
emigration information site.
This new section, covers the period between 1836 and 1857. You will find
a comprehensive list of surnames available on the site, along with a
breakdown by Province, Administrative District and then village/town.
Please be aware that there are no 100% correct lists available anywhere,
and that there may well be names missing or even misspelled.
The information is derived from several reputable sources and a lot of
years of hard work going over old records and newspapers.
The site is at http://www.lynx.net.au/~jules/lutheran/g_index.html - I
hope you find it useful. If anyone finds any errors, omitions or
anything of the sort, please let me know and I will correct it. In some
instances, I have further information available and will be happy to do
lookups, but my time is somewhat limited since I returned to full time
work, so those would have to be done on weekends, and I would ask people
to be specific in their requests.
I hope someone finds this information useful.
regards
Julie Stokes
