I have a copy of a letter written by Richard Rodda in May 1848 from Angaston, to Col Carlyon, who I presume owned the land Rodda was running.
It is a description of the land, of the colony and of production at that time - makes some interesting reading! My copy is in pencil and won't photo copy - I'll trtanscribe for any one interested.
