I was advised that the above URL might be useful, but did I expect to find
anything? No not really, but instead was "delighted" to discover not only
my father, but also my mother, aged 16 cleaning her shoes.
It is the address for the Australian war photo database and if you have
family members who were in military uniforms/positions suggest it worth a
try.
With my tiny family I was absolutely stunned to find two! thanks Gail and
