I have the list here, so if anyone wants it checked I can at least tell you
the surname and first names of the passengers - and if they died at sea, the
date that happened.....................trouble for me is that the people I'm
after, who were supposed to be on that voyage, aren't there!! The info I
have is Sarah Hewitt (Hewett), abt 19 years old, travelling with Rev George
Hogburn and his wife on the Neptune, which arrived 25 Oct 1853 - maybe they
were cabin passengers and not on the general list????????
Not sure where to go from here, but at least Hogburn (and a Rev at that) is
a slightly unusual name.
Any requests for lookup/info on the Hewitt/Hogburn party????
