Sorry Pam. I looked in Gwenda's bk & couldn't see anything re yr family. She
added extra info on misc Rodda families she'd gathered.
I love making contact with lost relatives, but my Thomas Rodda(Crowan)
married Mary Brenton in St Wenn and went to SA on "The Hoogly" in 1855.
Their children : Sarah (1835-1855), Mary (1837) m James Turnbull, Elizabeth
Jane Rodda (1840) m Richard John Nancarrow, Richard Rodda (1844-1873), Eliza
Rodda (1847) m Samuel Whinnen, and Eleanor Brenton Rodda (1850) m Adoni
Zedec Daniels. Eleanor is my line & they moved to West Aust early 1900s.
Captain Richard Rodda m ( Sarah Paynter Vounder)& Thomas Rodda were brothers
& originally settled in Angaston/Penrice area.

It still might be worth contacting Gwenda, because she has collected a
number of Rodda books written about families coming to Aust, plus amassed a
huge amount of Rodda info over the years, not on computer when I last saw
her. She has various contacts as well, so she might be able to connect you
with someone tied to yr Thomas Rodda. She had a Hotmail address using her
name, but I can't remb if it had capitals, underscores or was all lower
case. She's in B'bane & in phone bk, if you're interested.
