There is a method that allows you to save all your e-mails and address book
in a format that is simpler than Microsoft's tortured idea of storing mail
data.

I have used this method for a number of years since I had one of my famous
computer crashes.
Since then I have not lost one saved email or address in spite of several
hard drive failures.

It uses a little known routine that is part of Out Look Express's options.
Very simple to invoke and is free.
