Looking for shipping details for the arrival of a Robert & Mary MAHON (nee Grove). They had a child born in
South Aust in 1845 so arrival must have been prior to that. Robert was a miner at Tea Tree Gully

I also have ancestors who came as assisted immigrants, being sponsored by an A Robertson. I have been
unable to locate a land owner by such name and there is no entry in the BISA. My thoughts are he may have
been an employee of the Land Board and that he arranged peoples passage from England to S.A. to be
Ag laborers. Has anyone else come across this name as the sponsorer of immigrants to S.A.
