Hi all,
Briefly, details I wrote on about the Pt. Adelaide Institute,
is only Photographs - nothing else - nothing re Families, etc.
and only applies to the Port area, covering big business,
(eg, Timber Mills [ Walter & Morris ; Globe Timber, etc),Lawyers;
Doctors, and people of the day, around the turn of the Century;
but not families, or personal details etc.
Names included past Mayors of Pt. Adelaide Council; and
people of standing who put in money into this Institute - not like
today, where some of our Rates pay for books etc.
As per my first letter, it only applies to photo's, where
some of us, would love to have a photo, as my family did, when
they first came to SA.. Hope this explains a bit better.
