FOI does not preclude the government charging a "reasonable fee" to access,
copy and deliver the information. Nor does it say they have to send it in a
hurry and we all know how slow governments can be and what they consider
reasonable cost so - if you want the info buy it from the BDM office.

I am avoiding the ironing and rang Dept. of FOI in WA.
The Act is a state act and allows people access to documents from state and
local governments under FOI. If you get rejected you can apply to the Dept.
for assistance.
They have a web site. I guess each state will have its own site.
