Hi,

I do not know if Graham Jaunay is a member of this list. Perhaps someone
knows him and can pass this on.

I read Grahams entry in this months edition of the SAGHS magazine. The
article is on page 29 under the heading of "Interesting graves in South
Australia." I found the article quite interesting and at the end Graham
states that this particular death was not recorded in South Australia.
Being the way I am at sorting out problems..... I had a look on the Deaths
CD. I found the following entry.

Surname: KAMI First name: Kaura Male aged 20 Ys Died: 22-4-1887
Aboard "Byujo" Residence: Japan . Ref: 163-343.

The name that is on the headstone as reported by Graham was Yoshiluma
Kawakami (Kaura Kami).
