Dear Listers,
I am going throught the medical and navy notes for my relative Harry
MCPHEE, It shows that he sustained Gun Shot Wounds to both of his knees,
shattering his knee caps. I may have seen too many gangster movies, but
I though this type of wound was inflicted on cowards? He died many
years after the War (he was in WWI) at the Repat Hospital, Daw Park.
Can anyone share some info on typical GSW injuries in war?
