I have just had an SOS from a person who is on a branch, I have been
researching as part of a Squirrell One Name Research Group of which I am a
member. Sarah's grandson sent an urgent e mail & I wonder if anyone can
assist.
The widow of Thomas Squirrell (Sarah) has just turned 90 years of age in UK
& has lost her contact details as to her sister who resides in Adelaide.
(Queenie Barnes)
A quick search of the phone book yielded a Q E Barnes, but upon phoning this
number in case she is the correct person gained a Telstra message that this
line no longer exists. I then checked the 2005 rather than 2004 directory
only to discover no current posting - I am not sure if this implies a death
or moving into alternative accommodation.
She also has a cousin in sth Aust named Rita Taylor (but where do I start in
the phone book to find her ??? unless I phone all R taylors but then that
does not guarantee success.
Can I ask someone if they may be willing to see if Queenie is no longer
living or is referenced somewhere else in the electoral roll. The last
Telstra address (2004) was in Elizabeth area in case this was the correct
person.
Thank you for any assistance you may be able to give so that I can assist
unite Sarah aged 90 with her sister (if at all possible).
