Dear Listers

I couldn't believe my eyes when I fired up my email this pm. I am
overwhelmed, and rather embarrassed, by the number of people who have
helped in my quest to track John Colmer. Thank you all so much.

All the various leads and suggestions shall be explored, and in due
course I'll advise the outcome. Knowing so little information about him
may provide difficulty in determining whether or not I can reasonably
claim one of the John Colmer's as mine.

The responses, including offers of further lookups, speak volumes about
you generous people.
