Hi List,
I am becoming a desperate woman. I have looked everywhere for a SYKES James born around 1822. Cannot find where. Parents Unknown. Somehow he arived in Australia, cannot find when. Or he may have been born here. I have a copy of death certificate, but no parents are given. So I thought if someone may be able to help me with a lookup to see if he came out as convict. He married ROFFEY Jane in 1860 Hobart and died 1894 Tasmania. He was my G/Grandfather. Any Help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
